Hi, I'm Kim — Chief Nail Officer and Owner of CNVS Nails, short for Custom Nail Veneer System. My journey with CNVS began with a simple Instagram story. The original founder had an idea and needed someone to help bring that vision to life. I sent her a video introducing myself, and within a day we were sitting at a local Starbucks talking about the future of what would become CNVS.
From day one, I've been part of every decision — her vision became my challenge to bring to life, and together we built the foundation of a brand that felt different from anything else in the nail space.
With over 25 years of experience as a freelance graphic designer — working with major retailers on everything from packaging to email marketing — I poured every skill I had into building CNVS from the ground up. I designed every element of the brand, including our proprietary nail molds, packaging, website, and customer experience.

In January 2025, I officially took over as the sole owner of CNVS and made the leap to running the business full-time. One of the biggest decisions I made after taking over was to move all of our fulfillment in-house. We expanded into our own warehouse space so we could personally manage every order and ensure our customers receive the care and quality they deserve — something that often gets lost with larger brands.
As a mom of three and wife to Nathan, we're now empty nesters who love to travel — though these days, I'm proudly pouring most of my energy into building CNVS into something truly special.
CNVS was created to solve a major frustration in the nail world: one-size-fits-all nails that don't actually fit. I personally designed our 30-size custom sizer system to give every customer a personalized experience with nails that feel like they were made just for them.
We offer two classic shapes — almond and square — in two lengths each, with natural-looking gel veneers that are pre-shaped, pre-colored, and LED-cured to last up to two weeks. It all starts with our Quick Start Bundle, which helps customers find their perfect fit. From there, our monthly subscription delivers custom-sized manis right to their door — no more guessing, no more waste.
